Safety Policy
At TASOCS, we believe that all injuries, incidents and industrial related illness are preventable. Our commitment to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees, contractors and visitors is unwavering.
Our objective is to eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks by providing a safe and healthy working environment which is free from injuries and work-related illnesses.
We will achieve this by:
- Working consultatively with our personnel on safety matters to develop safe work practices based on evaluation of our risks;
- Ensuring our procedures and practices conform with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, Australian and international standards and alignment to industry codes of practice;
- Provide employees with safety information, supervision and training appropriate to the hazards they are likely to encounter;
- Carefully considering all possible impacts on our practices before introducing changes to the business or our operations;
- Setting measurable OH&S objectives and targets to ensure continued improvement aimed at elimination of work-related injury and illness; and
- To achieve measurable and continuous improvement in safety and health performance for all employees.
Whilst Management and Supervisors are accountable for ensuring this policy is understood and enforced the responsibility for implementing this policy rests with all personnel.
TASOCS shall provide the time and resources necessary to implement this policy and shall identify hazards, assess and control risks and develop the necessary plans and to continually improve all aspects of workplace safety and health.
